Aug. 10th, 2023 01:52 pmLong time no post. I've always been bad at posting and now it seems like I don't know where to begin. Life's ok. I'd like a different job but that's no different from the past ten years. I just don't know what I would want to do.
Husband is thinking of switching from IT to teaching - I hope he'll do it. I think he'd be good at it. I also think he'd enjoy it a lot.
Anne is no longer a baby. She's walking, bringing us shoes, bothering her brother, climbing on couches and standing up smiling deviously at us because she knows she's not allowed to stand on the couch. (Not because I'm so particular about people standing on couches, but because she lacks the orientation not to just fall face-down to the floor). Sam is being a really nice big brother, except for some jealousy now that she's actively playing with stuff (of course they always ONLY want to use whatever the other one is playing with). They're both sleeping relatively well - and loads better than a few months ago when Anne was basically awake whenever we weren't rocking her. I'm trying to switch to cloth diapers for Anne on the days we have her at home - yay more laundry! Right now I'm at home on Tuesdays with both kids and have a day off for household/me time on Wednesday, but that changes in September when I'll have Anne on Tuesdays and Sam on Wednesdays. Should be nice to have some alone time with both of them, especially seeing how Sam will be going to school in January - my baby boy!
